Bernie is such a sweet scruffy JRT who is 10 years young and looking for his dream retirement home. He is a really friendly, loving little chap who loves nothing more than sitting on your knee for a cuddle. Bernie needs a home where he won’t be left for too long, he’s ok for an hour or two, but gets upset if he’s left any longer than that. He is housetrained and good around the house. He isn’t a huge fan of other dogs and will bark/snap at other Male dogs or dogs who are bigger than him, but could possibly live with a calm small female dog. He’d be happiest on his own though so he gets all the attention to himself. He cannot live with cats! He had been fine around children, but we think a quieter home for him with no young kids would suit him best. He still enjoys his walks, and LOVES his food!! Bernie will make the most loving little companion.
