Jenny the Patterdale is such a character. She is 10-11 yrs old and is carrying a bit (quite a lot!) of extra weight at the moment, so her body can’t quite keep up with her busy Patterdale mind, but she still LOVES a game of fetch with her beloved tennis ball. She is very well behaved around the house – she is housetrained, sleeps well through the night and is quite obedient! She was beautifully on the lead, and has quite good recall off lead – she’ll do anything for her tennis ball. Jenny has a habit of being VERY vocal when you first put a lead on her – this is out of excitement and only lasts a few seconds. She is fine around other dogs, and has previously lived with cats. We wouldn’t rehome her with a female dog, but she could live with a compatible laid back male dog. She needs a quiet child free home where she can relax. She needs access to a totally secure garden. We’d love to find Jenny a home who know and love this special breed – Patterdales are a breed close to our hearts, and Jenny is a great example of the fab little characters they are.
