Rufus is a beautiful boy – he is a Labrador cross Husky (we think!). He is only 7-8 months old and around the size of a small Lab at present, and does have some growing to do! He is a beautiful golden colour, with black flecks in his coat. Rufus is a lovely big puppy, loves everyone and everything! He needs some basic training on the lead as he’s quite strong at the moment. He can be a little hand shy at times, so lots of positive training would be great for him. He is great with other dogs and generally plays nicely, but does get excited and can hump other dogs at the moment – he would do well with slightly older dogs who can give him a bit of guidance, and he will be neutered ASAP to help his humping habit! He has grown up with young children and has shown no issues around cats. Rufus is housetrained (and will let you know when he needs to go out), he’s not a big chewer but does like to chew his toys. He’s also used to being left while his previous owners worked, although as he’s such a young dog, we think he would be best suited to a home where he will get plenty of attention and training. Rufus will make a fantastic family dog and would love an active family who are willing to put the time and training in with him.
