Rubble! Quite possibly THE most wiggly dog we’ve ever met!! His whole body wiggles when he’s happy! He is a big, goofy adorable 7 month old puppy who is looking for a home who have the time and commitment to give him all of the training he has missed out on so far. He is a medium – large sized Bulldog crossbreed (possibly Old Tyme x American Bulldog?) and will be around 30-35kg when fully grown. Rubble is super friendly with everyone he meets, but needs to learn that not everyone wants his big paws in the air when he says hi! He will need help with his housetraining and WILL have accidents in the house. Rubble clearly isn’t used to walking on lead and can be a little nervous/unsure about the big wide world, so this needs building up slowly for him so he isn’t overwhelmed. He is bouncy around other dogs, and we feel would do well living with a larger breed slightly older playful (but not elderly) neutered female dog. He can be rehomed with children aged 8+. Rubble has been diagnosed with hip dysplasia – at the moment our vet has advised that he is coping well and this can be managed by careful exercise and a very good quality large breed puppy diet – hydrotherapy sessions would also be brilliant for him. It is likely that he will develop arthritis in his hips, which would need management of his home environment and pain relief to keep him comfortable and pain free. Please confirm in your application that you understand that Rubble has hip dysplasia and that you would be willing/able to provide him the management he needs as he gets older.
