Adorable Willow is only 11 months old, yet found herself at risk of losing her life through no fault of her own. She is a Staffy x Boxer and weighs around 25kg, so she’s bigger than a traditional Staffy, but not a huge girl! She has an absolutely beautiful tiger brindle coat and a very cute squishy face! Willow has clearly not had the socialisation she has needed as a puppy and can be anxious/nervous in new situations, and can be shy with new people, although she is much more confident now! With all of the staff here, she is super affectionate, giddy and playful – as you’d expect a young dog of her breeds to be! Willow has sadly had some bad experiences with other dogs before coming to us, so understandably, she gets stressed around dogs she sees on walks (bounces around etc), and will need a pet free home for now. Willow will need a home in a quieter area where she can enjoy walks without bumping into too many dogs etc – she wouldn’t cope with walks in busy parks etc at the moment as she would be too overwhelmed. She has the potential to have dog walking buddies, but would need careful slow intros with dogs she doesn’t feel threatened by. She is brilliant in her kennel – very quiet, settled and clean and also knows her basic commands – she’ll do anything for a tasty treat!! She really is the sweetest girl who needs someone to help her get over her tough start to life and show her that the big wide world isn’t anything to be worried about.
