Walter is looking for love. He is approx 10 yrs old and very steady and easy going, but still enjoys a good half hour walk and a play with his toys! He is a medium sized Staffy cross (a bit bigger than a traditional Staffy). He had endured a really tough life so far living in a small plastic shelter kept on a chain. Walter now LOVES the comfort of his cosy bed under his heat lamp – he so deserves to find some home comforts for his ‘golden years’. Due to his past, he may have a few toilet accidents as he settles in, but he is now very clean in his kennel, so we don’t think it’ll take him long to be fully housetrained. Walter isn’t used to having much attention, but when he knows you, he really loves having a fuss and little game of fetch (he’s very polite and will wait for you to throw his toy for him – what a gent!). Walter is very quiet and relaxed in his kennel, and will be happy to be left for a few hours. He walks really well on his lead, but isn’t happy around other animals, so will need quiet walks away from other dogs etc, and will need to be the only pet. He’ll need a child free home as he hasn’t been around children before. Walter really is a special boy who deserves the world after such a tough life.
