Little Dora is a lovely Patterdale Terrier who is approx 14 years young! She is in good health for her age and still enjoys shorter walks. Dora is very friendly and sweet with everybody, she loves people and gets distressed if she is left on her own, so will need a home where she will not be left for very long at all, if at all. She does need to sleep on the bed of her new owner as she gets very upset at night if she’s left downstairs on her own. Apart from this ‘issue’, Dora is a very easy little lady who is no trouble at all. She is good with other dogs, and currently living with 3 other dogs in a foster home. She’d be happiest with another steadier dog for company. She is also fine with cats. She walks nicely on the lead and enjoys snuffling around sniffing everything on her walks! She hasn’t got the best hearing, so is best to not be let off the lead. Dora is generally clean in the house, but will have a few accidents to begin with, and will toilet in the house if she’s left on her own out of anxiety. She needs a secure garden as she can be a bit of an escape artist if there are escape routes! In the house she isn’t too clingy, she does like to sit with you on the sofa but is also happy to take herself off for a snooze as long as she knows someone is around. She is a very special little girl and deserves a 5* retirement home where she will get all the company and attention she needs for the rest of her life.
