Spike is such a friendly older chap in need of a loving home! He is 9 years young and is a German Shepherd X Collie (35kg in weight). He has had a full health check at our vets and we are pleased to report he is fit and well, apart from needing to lose a few pounds! He has a really lovely nature, and is a very soft boy who always has a waggy tail. We think he’d be happiest in a home where he wouldn’t be left for long periods as he loves company. He has can happily live with other dogs and enjoys meeting other dogs out on his walks. Spike loves his walks, and loves to trot about sniffing everything, he is very active for his age! He walks quite nicely on the lead, and is happy to potter about on an extendable lead. He does seem a little hard of hearing, so probably won’t have very reliable recall off the lead! Spike is housetrained and not a chewer at all, he also travels OK in the car. He is such a lovely boy who deserves a 5* forever home.
