**APPLICATIONS NOW CLOSED – THANK YOU!** 9 month old Dougal is a little Maltese cross who is ready to find his perfect home. He arrived with us a very scared, matted and unhappy little man, but has blossomed in his foster home and is now a playful, happy puppy! Dougal has plenty of energy for good walks, and also LOVES to be out in the garden playing. He will need direct access to a private, secure garden. He loves other dogs, but would be too much for older dogs who didn’t want to play with him – a confident female who likes a play and can also teach him some boundaries would be a good match, but he would also do very well as he only dog. He can be rehomed with children 10+. Dougal is now clean overnight, but may have a few accidents as he settles into a new home. He sleeps well on his own downstairs at night, but during the day he barks when left alone, so he will need some work with this, and a home where he won’t be left alone for long during the day for now. He is a fab little boy with tons of personality and will make his new family very happy.
