Little Harry is an 11 year old Jack Russell cross (possibly Chihuahua or even Corgi!) who is looking for a quiet retirement home. He’s a lovely little chap who was very scared and shy at first, so needed some time to warm up to us when he first arrived, but he is now much happier now that he’s found his feet and is a proper little character! He already knows where his favourite treats are in our office and will stand and look at them to show us where they are – he’s definitely a clever little boy who knows what he wants!! Harry is quite a sensitive little soul who needs a gentle hand with someone who won’t be too overbearing with him – he loves a fuss on his terms, but doesn’t want any heavy handling. Harry settles well in his kennel, and we’ve yet to hear a bark from him bless him. He has shown no issues at all around other dogs – he doesn’t seem at all interested in other dogs! He could live with another smaller, calm dog who won’t be too much for him. He is not cat tested. Harry enjoys getting out for a walk, and although he won’t be one for huge long walks, he would really enjoy a nice couple of walks a day to stretch his little legs! He isn’t the happiest when travelling, and will tremble/cry/pant in the car, so ideally he wouldn’t want a lifestyle where he would be doing lots of car journeys, but he can manage for shorter trips where needed. Harry so deserves to find a home who will give him all the love and care in the world – a calm, quiet child free home with a private, secure garden would be perfect for him.
