Nellie is in desperate need of a home. She is the sweetest girl who loves to wiggle around with a toy in her mouth. She is 5 yrs old and is a medium sized Staffy cross. Nellie is a really friendly girl who is perfect around the home – she’s fully housetrained, can be left alone for a few hours, is relaxed and laid back. She can be rehomed with children aged 8+ (potentially younger if they are dog savvy). Nellie’s area that she needs understanding and experience with is her lead walking – she finds walks stressful, and does pull on lead and can be strong, and can be vocal when she sees another dog. She needs a home who are used to this with bull breeds. Once she has had an initial 10 minutes at the start of a walk, she does settle down and will walk much better, but will need walks in quieter areas. We do think her lead walking will really improve once she has fully settled into the right home, and has built a bond with her owner and is more familiar with her surroundings. She has had a lot of upheaval over the past few weeks (and probably has been passed around a lot before then, too), through absolutely no fault of her own, so she is desperate for some stability in her life with a family who love her for who she is.
