Alan is a proper little Staffy (18kg) who is 10 years very young! He is very fit and well! Nobody told him he’s going a bit frosty around the face, and he could pass for half his age – he loves his walks, playing with his toys and generally being a cheeky little bundle of Staffy fun! Alan is very friendly, but not the most overly affectionate boy at the moment (Although he does like to hop up and sit on your knee if he gets the chance!!) – we think it’ll take him a little bit of time to fully bond and relax away from kennels with a new owner, but when he does you will see THE most loyal friend – there really is nothing like the bond with a Staffy. Alan is a little star who walks beautifully on lead, is not reactive to other dogs (or anything else), he is clean in his kennel so appears to be housetrained and has travelled OK in a car so far. He is a typical chatty Staffy who will tell you what he wants – and to hurry up if you’re taking your time about it!! As he can be a bit ‘snatchy’ with his toys/treats, and we have no prior history, our Alan is best suited to a child free home. He will also need to be the only dog at this stage. He can bark/howl when shut away in his kennel, and may have some seperation anxiety, so needs a home where he wouldn’t be left for long – he just wants a best friend to bond with and ‘do life’ with.
