Oh so pretty Misty the Saluki cross is now ready to find a special forever home after being so brave. Misty was hit by a car when she was straying, and sadly lost her leg due to the accident – she is adapting to life on 3 legs remarkably well. She is approx 4-5 yrs old and weighs 19kg. She really is the most beautiful girl. Misty is very much a typical Sighthound – she is sensitive, delicate, very loving and definitely quite sassy!! We are hoping to find her a home who know and love Sighthounds with their little quirks and sensitive natures. Misty isn’t a fan of being left alone, so will need plenty of company in her new home. She’ll need (relatively) easy access to a secure garden, but she does manage a few steps absolutely fine. She is vocal around other dogs when she’s out and about at the moment, but we think this will ease in time once she has really settled. She has met her foster carers small dog and was fine with them, and we would consider rehoming her with a friendly neutered male dog. She is interested in watching birds/small furries, but her prey drive does not appear to be huge. Misty has been through SO much over the past couple of months, and really does now deserve to find a forever home who will give her the absolute world, just as she deserves. She’s a very special girl.
