This special little lady is 10 year old Chihuahua Ren. She is a typical Chi who is full of character, adores her people, is cheeky, knows what she wants, but is also very sensitive and needs someone to understand her. She has come a long way from the skinny, flea infested and worried girl who arrived with us from stray kennels, and now needs to find her happy ever after. Ren needs a Chihuahua (or small breed) experienced home who understand nervous rescue dogs – she is worried meeting new people, but it doesn’t take her long to trust, and when she does, she adores her person and loves nothing more than a cuddle on the sofa. Little Ren can be a bit ‘spicy’ with handling that she doesn’t like (mainly with the vet!), and will snap – for example, she found having eye drops very stressful, and needs a gentle, slow but confident approach to handling in situations like this, but for the most part she is absolutely fine. She would love a quiet home with a garden that is secure for a little one! She can live with another calm, smaller dog, but would also be very happy on her own so that she gets all the attention. Ren settles in a cosy, covered crate (she sees this as her little safe space), and can be left for a few hours. She is a very special little girl who so deserves to find a Chihuahua loving home who will help her feel safe and secure, understand her worries, and of course love her cheeky Chi nature!!
