Brindle Billy is only approx 12-18 months old – what a brilliant young boy he is! He is the most gorgeous Crossbreed – quite slightly built (smaller than his photos make him look) – he weighs approx 19kg and has a soft ‘fuzzy’ type coat. Billy has been such a good boy since arriving with us. He is a young, energetic boy so understandably he can be bouncy and does jump up, but he soon settles down. He is clean, non destructive and settled in his kennel. He LOVES his food – he is super motivated by treats and is incredibly bright, so soaks up anything you ask of him like a sponge – he would absolutely love to find a family who actively want to ‘do stuff’ with him and expand on his basic training. He is very much a blank canvas with so much potential. Billy will need an active home and lifestyle and will thrive living in a relatively quiet area – he would love a home in the countryside. Billy walks well on lead in general and doesn’t really pull, but probably hasn’t got much experience of lead walking as he is a bit ‘zig zaggy’ He can sometimes be a little spooked by busy/heavy traffic, and has worried moments sometimes if something makes him jump, so just needs a bit of support and not to be suddenly thrown into busy areas straight away. Billy is curious, and excitable around other dogs, and we think that he’d enjoy living with a similar sized female dog, but can be any only dog. He is not cat tested. Billy can be rehomed with children aged 12+. He will thrive in a relatively calm home environment with a family who have previous rescue experience and can offer him plenty of input, exercise and training – he’s a very special boy.
