Gentle, sweet Alfie is a 2.5 yr old Mastiff cross and is such a special boy. He has been an absolute dream since arriving with us from a stray kennels – everyone who meets him instantly falls in love with him. He is so soft, a little shy at first and just wants to be close to someone – he melts into you for a cuddle. Alfie is very easy on the lead and just plods along walking very nicely on slack leads. He has been fine around other dogs and could potentially live with a friendly neutered female dog. He is not cat tested. Alfie is now clean in his kennel, he is non destructive and loves to snuggle up in his bed. He also travels well. He really is a star. Alfie arrived with us very underweight, but has gained 5kg already and looks much better – he still has a little way to go but he LOVES his food so we are having to be careful to not overfeed! His health check at our vets was all fine with no concerns. Size wise, he is currently 35kg, and should be nearer 40kg, so he is a large breed, but not a huge boy – we think he’s a perfect size! Alfie is just amazing and couldn’t be more deserving of finding a loving forever home.
