Squishy little Bella is a 2 yr old Frenchie who is looking for her dream home. She is super friendly and loves nothing more than cuddling up to you on the sofa and generally being as close as possible – personal space isn’t a ‘thing’ when you have Bella around!! Bella needs a home where she isn’t left for long – she can be left in a crate once settled and well exercised for a couple of hours, but will have a wee/poo if left with free reign at the moment. She will not go to the toilet on lead, and only goes on grass, so she MUST have direct access to a grassy private garden in her new home. Bella is in foster with other dogs who she is generally fine with – she doesn’t really understand how to politely start to play, so can be noisy when she plays and doesn’t understand if other dogs aren’t wanting to play with her! She can get stressed and be reactive to dogs out and about – mainly if they bark/focus on her, but once she’s actually met a dog, she is fine. She has quite a high prey drive and will chase cats, but may be able to integrate with a very confident dog-savvy cat in a home who can manage their interactions. Bella needs a minimum of a good hours exercise a day – she is getting used to walks now, and enjoys being on an extendable lead, but can’t yet be let off the lead. PLEASE NOTE: Bella has epilepsy, which is controlled very well by medication (epiphen tablets 2x a day which works out to cost around £10 per month) but she does also need 6-12 monthly blood tests to make sure all is well at her current medication dose.
