Cindy is a very pretty cream coloured Lurcher who is around 8 years old and arrived in our care from a stray pound, so unfortunately we have no history about her. It is clear Cindy has not had a good life up until now – she is very, very timid and shy, especially handshy around her head. She will need a patient, quiet child free home where she can come around and gain trust and confidence in her own time. Cindy takes a lot of confidence from living with other dogs, she currently is in foster with 3 Greyhounds who she follows around everywhere and is happiest in their company. She will need to live with another gentle, but more confident dog in her new home. She travels very well in the car, and is definitely used to being in a car as she jumps straight in. Cindy tries to stay clean inside but will have a few accidents as she settles in. She walks very nicely on lead. We think she will need a home where she will not be left for long periods, and she will need a very secure garden!
