Pretty Clover is only around 1-2 years old and is a medium sized Lurcher. She is a lovely girl who is very friendly with everyone she meets. Clover needs a very special home who want to help a dog who REALLY needs it. Clover isn’t without her issues, and we desperately need to get her into the right home environment so that she can start her training. She is super intelligent and will learn very quickly. She really struggles to ‘relax’ and switch off, so needs regular rest time in a cosy, comfy crate to give her the opportunity to relax and rest. Typical of her breed, she has a very strong prey drive, and is most definitely not cat/small furry friendly! She must be kept on lead on her walks, and she’ll need a fully secure garden where she cannot see out – she could not cope with neighbouring dogs. Clover gets very stressed around other dogs on walks, and is reactive to them. She will need further careful socialisation around other dogs – she’ll need to be the only pet in the home for now, and must be walked in quiet areas at the moment. She really has so much potential and deserves to find a family of her own who have the time to put into her training – HYPS are more than happy to provide help with the costs of a behaviourist to help her, for however long she needs.
