Daisy is a lovely 8 yr old medium sized Lab/Collie/Spaniel type Crossbreed who is sadly in our care due to the ill health of her previous owner. Daisy is a really sweet girl with a bit of a sensitive side, once she’s bonded with you she is very affectionate and loyal and we know she used to fetch her old owner his paper every day bless her. On first meet, Daisy acts a little uninterested with new people as she’s shy in her own way, but we hope anyone who meets her will understand that it won’t take long for Daisy to relax and bond with her new family. She is looking for an active child free home with a family who have some experience of dogs previously. She may be middle aged, but as you can imagine with her breed mix, she has tons of energy and loves to be out exploring! Daisy is very well behaved in her kennel and is housetrained (but will have a few accidents as she settles in). She doesn’t chew at all, travels well and would be OK to be left for a few hours. She walks very nicely on the lead and is a pleasure to walk and shows no interest at all when she sees other dogs. She would need to be kept on lead until fully bonded with her new owner as she is very scent driven and loves to follow her nose so would probably be easily distracted when off lead! She has shown no issues around other dogs and may be able to live with a calm male dog, but would be happy living as the only dog. She is not tested around cats. Daisy is a fantastic dog and will shine in the right home.
