Darla is a very sweet, shy German Shepherd cross who is around 5 yrs old. She is medium in size and smaller than a full GSD. Darla needs a patient, quiet home where she will be allowed to build up her confidence in her own time. She bonds with people quite quickly and loves to have a fuss and cuddle when she trusts you (she just shies away from people she doesn’t know). Darla is very quiet and no trouble at all – she is fully housetrained, doesn’t chew and will be fine to be left for a few hours. She has shown no issues around other dogs and could live with another calm dog. She is nervous out walking on a lead, she walks fine on the lead around our kennels, but away from her comfort zone scares her and she’ll be too frightened to walk, so she’ll need gradually building up to longer walks in her new home once she is familiar in her new area. As such, she will need a secure garden so she can enjoy some outdoor time while her confidence grows. Darla is a total sweetheart who really deserves to find her happy ever after.
