Staffy fans! Meet Fizz! Fizz is approx 2 yrs old (if that), and arrived into our care from stray kennels. She is the most gorgeous smaller sized Staffy. Fizz has never put a paw out of place since arriving with us, and is an absolute pleasure to look after. She is a very friendly little lady who is always happy to get out for a walk – she can even be tempted in the rain! She is totally clean in her kennel, which suggests that she is housetrained, she settles very well when on her own and has never chewed anything other than her toys. She travels well, walks well on lead, and is just an all round ‘good girl’. Fizz is only young and as such, she has plenty of energy and we would love to find her an active home where she will get plenty of exercise, and even be able to get involved in something like agility as she is super bright and very toy motivated. She can be bouncy and jump up at times and has occasionally mouthed when she’s excited (absolutely no malice – just puppy type excitement) – she listens well and stops when asked. She absolutely LOVES to play ‘fetch’ with a tennis ball – sometimes if there’s none around she’s been known to pick up a little pebble or scrap of toy and chuck that around and have a play! We think that Fizz would be best suited to a calmer home environment with older children upwards. Previous Staffy experience would be ideal. Fizz had some scarring around her face when she arrived with us, and showed some nerves around other dogs, so we think she may have been bitten by a dog previously. She has shown no reactivity towards dogs out and about, but we think that she’ll be happiest as the only dog in the home. She is the perfect little Staffy bundle of love and we can’t wait to find her the forever home she deserves.
