Ivy is approx 6 months and is a Staffy crossbreed (possibly some Frenchie/Staffy/Pocket Bully in her mix?) – she is currently 16kg in weight, and will have a bit of growing yet to do, but we do not think that she will be a very large girl. She is so so sweet, despite having had a heartbreaking start to life. She was found abandoned in some woodland with her sister when she was around 4 months old – she was emaciated, terrified and had tested positive for Parvo. Thankfully, both her and her sister have recovered well, and are now safe with us and Ivy is now ready to find the forever home she so deserves who can show her that life is good. Ivy adores people and in her foster home is very much a typical Bully puppy – she’s giddy, playful, and loves nothing more than snuggling! She is working on her housetraining, but does have accidents, and needs time, patience and consistency to help her with this, but she is getting the hang of going into the garden now. She is very food motivated, and picks up things very quickly – she knows some basic commands now, and will learn things quickly. We think she would really benefit from living with another dog – a confident adult neutered male would be ideal – she would love a friend to play with, and will gain confidence from being with another confident dog. She is still nervous of the big wide world, and she will need gently introducing to lead walks, and slowly showing that the big wide world isn’t so scary. As Ivy is still very much a puppy, she will need lots of company, training, patience and all the love in the world, and in the right home, she will blossom into the most amazing girl as she grows up.
