Meet lovely Lyra! She is an adorable medium sized crossbreed (20kg in weight) who is approx 4 yrs old. Lyra only has 1 eye, we don’t know how she lost it, but we think this just adds to her gorgeous, quirky looks and personality! Lyra is a friendly girl who will bond strongly with an owner – she gets so excited to see us in the mornings that she ‘talks’ to us and couldn’t wiggle her tail faster if she tried! She has plenty of energy (and loves to do silly zoomies!), but is also then very happy to relax and snooze. She is fully housetrained and absolutely fine to be left for a few hours. Lyra is best living as the only pet, but is OK out and about meeting dogs. She isn’t used to being around children, and can sometimes be startled on her blind side, so needs a home with children over 14. Lyra was rescued from Romania, and has had no formal training, and can be a little shy/unsure in certain situations. She would really benefit from finding a home with previous rescue dog experience who can further her training, and build her confidence. She is nervous getting in cars, and can be nervous walking around traffic. Lyra needs a home with a very secure garden and would ideally be best suited to a home in a more rural location. She is such a little character and will make her new family so happy.
