Roo is a very lovely Jack Russell cross (maybe Plummer Terrier) who is approx 3 years old. She hasn’t had the best of starts to life, but is coming on in leaps and bounds in her foster home. Roo can be timid at first, but quickly comes round and is very affectionate – she bounces into your arms for cuddles, hence her name! She is living with other dogs in her foster home, but did need slow introductions with them, she could live with a calmer male dog, or on her own. Roo is now nearly housetrained, but will have accidents as she settles in. She didn’t have any experience of walking on a lead before coming to us, but she’s picked it up really well and is a quick learner. She would be best in a home who have plenty of time for her, she can be left for a few hours (she settles well in a crate), but as she’s still in need of training etc, we think a home who can spend a lot of time with her would be best. An active terrier experienced home would be perfect for her as her confidence grows. Roo is such a sweet girl who deserves the very best in her life from now on!
