Sky is a very loving and affectionate Springer Spaniel x Jack Russell who is 7-8 years old. Sky loves nothing more than having a fuss and sitting on your knee if she’s allowed – the closer she can get to you the better in her world! As she loves people so much, she wouldn’t be happy being left for more than a couple of hours, so wouldn’t suit full time workers. She is fully housetrained and doesn’t chew anything she shouldn’t – but loves to de stuff fluffy toys!! She may be a little older, but Sky is very fit and has lots of energy for playtime and walks! She walks very nicely on a head collar, but does pull if just on a collar/harness. Sky gets anxious around other dogs who she doesn’t know on walks, and can be reactive to other dogs when she’s out walking, she has lived with another dog in the past, but reacts to unknown dogs out of anxiety. She will walk alongside friendly dogs once she’s got used to them with no issues. Because of this, she needs a relatively experienced owner to manage her out and about and help her feel confident and safe. She will need a very secure garden where she can run around and play in. Sky is so unhappy in kennels and is desperate to find someone who will give her all the love and time she wants, she really will make the most loving, loyal little girl to her new family.
