Toffee is a gorgeous young Crossbreed girl who is only around 18 months old. She loves nothing more than playing with her beloved balls – tennis, football, basketball… she doesn’t care!! She is medium – large in size and has lots of energy for long walks and playtime! Toffee is typical of the young dogs we see at the moment – she hasn’t seen much of the world and does need a bit of lead training, but is doing really well already with our dog walkers. She was quite nervous when she first arrived with us from stray kennels, but is now much more confident – she will still carry some nerves, and will need a home who understand that rescue dogs need time and patience. Toffee can be anxious around other dogs, and pull towards them on walks, and has been a little grumbly at some, so she will need to be the only pet in the home and will need careful and slow socialisation with dogs as she settles. She is a clever girly who knows her basic commands already, and tries to stay clean in her kennel, so we think she will be housetrained once she’s settled into a new home and routine. Toffee will need a home with a secure garden, plenty of company, and a family who have the time to carry on with her training – she is a young girl who has SO much potential, we just have to find her the family who can help her blossom.
