Little Twiggy is a very pretty medium sized 4 yr old Crossbreed – possibly Staffy x Whippet x Collie? She is very sweet, very sensitive and has been through a terrible time, so needs a patient rescue dog experienced owner. Twiggy can come across as very excitable and bouncy, but this is anxiety based – she is a very nervous little soul underneath it all and struggles to know how to cope with attention. She is doing so well with us and is much calmer and less frantic now. She walks well on lead, and has been OK meeting other dogs out and about, but will need to be the only pet at this point. She’ll need a calm home environment where she will have boundaries put in place from day 1 to help her understand how to settle and cope in her new environment. We will provide behavioural support (via a qualified behaviourist) for Twiggy in her new home to help set her up to succeed. She really is a very special girl who so deserves to find a family who will put in the time and work she needs to help her settle – she has SO much potential, and will reward you tens of times over with so much love and loyalty.
