Twiggy is an adorable, cheeky 6 month old Whippet cross puppy who is full of beans and full of love for everyone she meets!! She is currently 14kg in weight and has some growing to do, but she will not be a large dog. She came to us from a stray pound and she probably has had little in the way of training before, so she is very much a blank canvas and is crying out for some training and focus – she has SO much potential! Twiggy can be very bouncy, and can mouth sometimes, so will need a home with no children under 15. She needs to learn lots of manners, especially around food as she is very full on and will snatch anything she can, she picked up being calm and waiting for food in 1 training session, but this will need lots of repetition! Twiggy walks beautifully on lead, and travels well. She could live with another sighthound/larger male dog, but best not to live with any smaller breeds and will need more socialisation round other dogs, generally she is fine though. In the house, she does get anxious if anyone leaves the room, and will bark/cry if left on her own for more than a few minutes, so will need a home where she won’t be left until she has settled. She needs some further housetraining, but does try to stay clean in the house. Twiggy will need a very secure garden as she can jump and will be a little escape artist given the chance! She really is the most fantastic little character and has so much potential – she is very intelligent and quick to learn and she really deserves a 5* home, ideally with sighthound experience, to put in some work with her so that she can blossom into a happy, content little girl.
