Violet is a beautiful 15 month old Whippet cross who is a very senstive little lady needing a quiet, calm home. Violet is very shy around people and takes a little while until she feels brave enough to have a fuss, she is particularly nervous around men. She trusts other dogs a lot more than she does people, and does need to live with at least 1 other dog who she can take the lead from. She will need a very secure garden (6ft fencing) and to be walked carefully with a Martingale collar/Ruffwear Webmaster harness or similar, as she easily slips collars/most harnesses. Once she feels safe, Violet loves having a gentle fuss and has the sweetest personality, her playful side shines through and she loves doing zoomies when she’s happy! She bonds strongly with people, and would be best in a home where she won’t be left for more than a few hours. She is housetrained, but can have the odd accident. Violet is looking for a home who know her breed and who have the patience and calm environment she needs, she is an absolute sweetheart and deserves the very best from now on after having such an awful start to life.
