Beautiful Abbie is only 10-12 months old and in need of an active, experienced owner who wants a dog to train and exercise with. She is a Malinois/Mastiff crossbreed (more Shepherd like in temperament) who is medium to large in size. As you can imagine, Abbie needs that brain working and isn’t a dog who wants to sit on the sofa all day! She is still in the bouncy/nipping phase if she gets over excited, and isn’t suitable to live with children. She is a shy at first, and unsure/nervous of new things/places, but she’s inquisitive and will investigate everything at her pace. She adores her person and will melt into your arms for a cuddle, but does have a tendency to over-bond with her owner. Abbie can mix with other dogs, but can be a bit unsure and avoidant at times – she would probably be happiest as the only dog, but we would consider a home with a stable male dog with the right people to manage interactions. She can be left for a few hours, travels well and is housetrained. Abbie really is a special dog who deserves to find a 5* home who will give her all she needs and more after such a rubbish start to her life.
