Biscuit is a gorgeous Retriever type Crossbreed who is large in size (weighs nearly 40kg, but is on a diet!!) who is approx 5 yrs old. She is such a friendly girl with a happy, loving personality. She’s always smiling and loves attention and to have a fuss, so much so that she nudges you for extra strokes if she hasn’t had enough! She is great with other dogs, and can happily live with other dogs (but she will guard chews/tasty food). Biscuit is fully housetrained, doesn’t chew anything she shouldn’t and is absolutely fine to be left for a few hours on her own. She also travels well. She is originally from Spain where she was rescued from a stray pound over there 2 years ago, she does have a disease called Leishmaniasias caught from sandflies when she was in Spain. This is not contagious to other dogs, and doesn’t affect Biscuit at all at the moment, but she needs daily medication for the rest of her life and annual blood tests to make sure everything is kept at bay. The medication is relatively inexpensive and can be bought online. Biscuit walks well on the lead, and is quite a low energy dog who doesn’t need too much exercise. She doesn’t have much muscle on her back legs, so just needs short walks at the moment to build her up and help her shed her excess weight. She hasn’t been tested off lead. She is a really special girl who has been through so much, yet has such a positive and happy personality despite everything she’s been through. She is looking for a 5* Home who have enough room for a big girl like Biscuit, and of course lots of love to give her!!
