Harriet Hound is around 2-3 yrs old and is the sweetest girl you could wish to meet. She is a Foxhound, and weighs around 35kg and is Lab sized. Harriet is very shy/nervous of people, but comes to life when she is around other dogs. She MUST live with at least 1 other dog in her new home – she needs to live with a confident dog who is a similar size to her, and who likes to play and want companionship with another dog. Harriet also needs a countryside home and lifestyle – she finds busy, built up areas scary, especially around traffic. She is very strong on the lead, but must be walked on lead (her nose will be on the ground and she would be off if she was off-lead!), so she does need work with lead walking. She would be brilliant to run with. She will need a patient, understanding home who understand her needs. Harriet may chew when left alone for longer periods, but with the company of other dogs, and if she is well exercised, we don’t think this will be huge issue (She will take the opportunity to see what’s on the kitchen sides if given the chance though!!). Harriet is a very special girl, who so deserves to find her happy ever after.
