Jed is is only around 12 months old and looking for a home who have experience with young headstrong large breed dogs! He is a Cane Corso type crossbreed and definitely has many traits of the breed. Jed is a big character and is very friendly with everyone he meets and is a total softie, with actually quite a sensitive side. He is good with children, but due to his size and bouncy nature he would be best rehomed with children aged 10+. It’s clear he hasn’t seen much of the outside world in his life so far, and doesn’t seem to have been walked before, so everything is very new and very exciting for him when he’s out on a walk! He walks in a headcollar, but is still very strong at times and needs a confident handler who can manage him when he’s out and about. He gets over excited by other dogs and will cry/bark/pull towards dogs when he sees them. He will need a very slow, careful introduction to dogs he meets, but may be able to live with a large breed female dog in the right home. He has a very high prey drive, so cats are a big no, and he cannot live with smaller dogs. Jed is already learning his rules and boundaries really quickly, and loves a routine. He will be an absolutely fantastic companion and has so much potential, we just have to find him the right home who can carry on his training and lead the way for him to become a well rounded boy as he matures.
