Handsome Leo is looking for his perfect people. He is 7 years young (in great health and very fit and well!) and a gorgeous bull breed mix – maybe some Mastiff/Staffy/Shar Pei?! Leo was saved at the very last minute, and arrived with us at midnight one night after a long journey – lucky boy! He is actually a very sensitive soul, as so many of our beautiful bull breeds are. Leo can be a little uninterested in people he doesn’t know, but is very loyal once he’s bonded with his person, and has lots of personality just waiting to come out! He is immaculate in his kennel – totally housetrained, does not chew and is very quiet. He will be absolutely fine to be left alone for a few hours in his new home as he is pretty laid back generally. Leo has clearly had some bad experiences around other dogs in his past (and sadly bears the scars to show for it), and as such, he is very reactive to other dogs on his walks. He isn’t bothered by dogs walking past his kennel, but when he’s out in the big wide world, he finds this overwhelming, and will react to dogs. He is a strong boy, so must be walked by a confident, strong owner who understands that he needs walking in areas where he won’t come across many dogs, and in time, work on his reactivity to ease his anxieties. Leo is one very special boy – we adore him, and he deserves the very best in his life now.
