Poor Lola is the most loving, adorable American Bulldog girl who is around 4-5 years old. She has just spent many months in stray kennels where she was so upset and stressed around all the noise and commotion. She is now in a very short term foster home to get her out of kennels, but urgently needs her forever home! Lola is super friendly with people, and loves cuddles and fuss. She knows basic commands, is fully housetrained and is also a very good traveller in the car. As she has spent so long being stressed and wound up by other dogs in kennels, she is understandably very uneasy around other dogs now, so she will need to be the only pet in the home and be carefully re socialised around other dogs once she’s settled into her home. We are sure she’ll start to relax around other dogs in time, but needs someone understanding who can take this slow with her. She LOVES her food, so this will be a great training aid with her! She generally walks nicely on the lead, but does pull when she sees another dog, and as she’s a big girl, she can be strong, so needs a home with large breed experience who can confidently handle her – she is much calmer with someone who is calm and confident with her on her walks, as she needs to be shown she’s got nothing to worry about by other dogs. She is a very special girl with so much love to give, she really will make her new family the most loyal dog and desperately deserves to be given a chance.
