Mavis totally melts our heart – she’s an absolute princess who is looking for a very special home who will spoil her rotten like she deserves. She is 6 years old and is a smaller sized American Bulldog (possibly some Boxer in there). Mavis is super laid back and wants nothing more than a chilled home where she can potter in the garden sunbathing to her hearts content, and to get out for a couple of shorter walks per day and play with her ball. She is perfect around the house – absolutely fine to be left for a few hours, and very calm – give her a sofa to snuggle on and a comfy bed, and she’s in heaven. Mavis is not a fan of other dogs, and needs to be the only pet – she’s a Princess after all, and does not want to share! She has allergic skin disease, which is kept at bay with Apoquel, a hypoallergenic diet and regular baths. She will need management for her skin for the rest of her life, and may need steroids when she has ‘flare ups’. We really hope that we can find her a home who will give her a chance despite her ‘issues’ – she is the most amazing girl who has been through so much and is so so deserving of finding her forever home.
