Marvellous Mr Norbert is approx 18 months old and is such a character! He’s an Old English Bulldog (we think!) who is medium-large sized and is a cheeky, loveable, bouncy slobbery chops Bulldog! Norbert needs a calm, quiet home who ideally have Bulldog experience who know and love their quirky personalities. He would settle well with a single owner as he’s a very loyal boy and would love that 1-1 relationship. He is actually a very sensitive boy underneath his bouncy goofy exterior, and is easily spooked and worried – something as small as a door banging in the wind can really scare him. Norbert is dog friendly when he’s out and about, and can be excitable to see dogs, but he is best as the only dog so that he doesn’t have any pressure of sharing ‘his’ person (or toys!), but he can happily have walking friends. He walks nicely on his lead, and has plenty of energy, so really enjoys getting out for a good walk. Norbert will hugely benefit from a good, predictable routine, to give him a sense of security. He is happy to be left for a few hours with no issues, and also travels well in the car.
