Skye is a beautiful 6 yr old long haired GSD who is sadly needing a new home as her previous owner became too ill to care for her. She has been a pleasure to care for since arriving with us and has been very friendly with everyone she has met, including older children. Skye is spotless in her kennel and very tidy, she will only toilet when you let her out of her kennel. We don’t think she has been walked much recently, so she needs some reminding of how to walk nicely on lead as she is strong at the moment. With regular exercise and a little training, she will be walking much better on the lead in no time but at present she does need someone used to handling large breeds who pull! Skye shows no issues around other dogs at all, but we do know she has never lived with another dog – she could potentially live with a laid back larger breed male dog. We do not know how she is with cats. She will need a home where she will have plenty of company and lots of TLC, which she has sadly been lacking recently. We are ideally looking for a home with GSD experience for Skye.
