Sully is our resident ‘BFG’ – he is a 3 yr old Mastiff x Akita who is absolutely lovely and such a laid back character. He is a big softie with people, and once he knows you he loves nothing more than rolling on his back for a tummy rub! He is actually quite a sensitive boy who can be shy/nervous in new situations, but has never shown any aggression. Sully will need a large breed experienced home with children over 14. He is VERY well behaved – fully housetrained, doesn’t chew at all, absolutely fine to be left alone for a few hours and travels well. He was sadly attacked by another dog and lost half of his ear during this incident, since this happened, Sully hasn’t understandably been happy around other dogs/animals, so will need a confident handler on his walks to keep him safe and away from other dogs. He doesn’t need a lot of exercise, and is more than happy with 2x 30 min strolls a day. He needs direct access to a decent sized secure garden where he can relax in. Sully really is a fantastic boy, who just needs to find a home who know and love large breed gentle giants.
