Ben is a lovely 10 yr old Jack Russell who will make the most loyal companion. He is a little lost in the world at the moment as his loving owner sadly recently passed away. Ben is understandably quite confused to be out of his routine that he knew so well, but is adapting quickly to new routines. He is a friendly little chap, but wouldn’t want to be overly fussed with and isn’t really a lap dog – he likes to be in the same room as his person, but not on their knee! He does also need to be able to have access to his new owners bedroom at night as he gets very distressed when on his own at night. Ben has a habit of stopping on his walks and not walking, but with a firm hand he soon picks up that he won’t get away with it and carries on his way, he walks very nicely on lead and doesn’t pull. Ben is OK with calmer, small female dogs but isn’t a fan of bigger dogs and most definitely no cats! He is looking for a child free, quiet home who have experience with terriers and their little quirks! He is in very good health for his age and doesn’t look 10 years old at all! Ben will make such a fantastic companion and really deserves to find his happy ending after such a sad time.
