Lovely Luke is a very handsome 8 yr old Pointer crossbreed looking for a caring forever home. Luke is a friendly boy with a lovely temperament. He gets on well with other dogs and seems fine with cats. He is good with children of all ages, but would probably be happiest in a quieter home as he can be quite a sensitive soul. Luke’s main ‘issue’ is that he is terrified of fireworks, which has led to a fear of going out for walks sometimes and being easily spooked/worried when out if he hears a loud bang. His reaction will be to try to run home, or to the car if away from his local area. For this reason we’d like to find Luke a rural home with an understanding family who will not force him to carry on walking if he gets scared. A confident owner who he can trust to take the lead and ‘protect’ him when he gets unsure would be great for him. Luke is fully housetrained and fine to be left for a few hours. He travels well in the car. He is such a sweet dog and really deserves to find an understanding, patient home who will take things at his pace.
