Mr McGee is a fab little chap who is looking for love. He arrived with us from stray kennels, so we know nothing of his past, or what breed mix he is, but we suspect he is a Cavalier cross … possibly Pekingese? He is around 2-3 years old. He has been very sweet since arriving with us and a proper little character! He is sensitive and will bond very quickly with his new owner, and may struggle being left alone once he’s bonded if boundaries aren’t put in place. He needs a very calm home where he can relax. He LOVES to sit on your knee for a fuss, but would prefer things on his own terms and would probably be a little uncomfortable being ‘over handled’ when he doesn’t want it. We are hoping to find a home experienced with rescue dogs/small breeds for Mr McGee who can keep him nice and calm and read his body language. He has been hit and miss around other dogs, and would definitely prefer a pet free home at the moment. He will be a fantastic companion and has so much love to give his new owner – he’ll totally blossom in the right home.
