Sherlock is a gorgeous 3 yr old Miniature Labradoodle who is looking for a very specific type of home who understand his needs. He is incredibly intelligent, and sensitive. He has a lot of behavioural quirks and does have a bite history – he can only be rehomed with a very experienced single woman owner. Sherlock is absolutely brilliant on his walks – he walks beautifully on and off lead, is not reactive and will do anything for his beloved tennis ball! He is quite high energy, so will need an active home. He is housetrained, sleeps in a crate overnight, is not at all destructive and travels well. Sherlock has issues with anyone other than his owner being in an enclosed environment – he will lunge at anyone moving around the home (it is NOT just territorial behaviour which can be overcome with slow introductions to new people). He needs to live as the only pet because of this, too. Sherlock is very affectionate and a really lovely boy with his person, but does NOT like being disturbed when asleep and must be given plenty of space until he has fully woken. These are his 2 main triggers for aggression (he also hates the vet and groomers, but is now muzzle trained). This is very manageable in the right home, and he will make the most fantastic companion for someone who understand his behavioural needs. He’s a very special boy.
