Simba is a very friendly, sweet 4 year old Golden Cocker Spaniel. He is sadly looking for a new home after his previous elderly owners found him too strong to walk. Simba is a typical Spaniel – tons of energy and very bright! He will need a very active home where he will get all the exercise he needs. He does need some lead work as he does pull quite a lot at the moment (and gets very excited/vocal when his lead is first put on!). He is overweight at the moment (17.5kg) so will need to lose a few kilograms in weight to get him to a more healthy size! He is a very affectionate boy and really enjoys having a cuddle. Simba has been good around children and could live with children over 8 in his new home. He is also fine with other dogs. Simba is housetrained and is fine to be left for a few hours, however he can’t be rehomed with full time workers as he needs plenty of attention. He also travels well in the car. He is a fantastic boy and really deserves a home where he can have a little more training, plenty of exercise and love!
