Teeny tiny Wilbur the Yorkie is looking for a very special home. He is 12 yrs old, and needs to find a quiet, understanding and loving family to give him the peaceful retirement he so deserves. Wilbur came into our care as a stray – we don’t know what his past life was like, but it’s quite obvious from his behaviour that he hasn’t had much kindness in his past. Wilbur is very untrusting of strangers, especially men – he does NOT want to be handled by people he doesn’t know, and WILL bite if not listened to, or pushed. When he knows you, which doesn’t take too long, he can be a very sweet little boy who loves a little cuddle and gives kisses… but this must always be on his terms – he needs to find someone who can read his body language. A confident, but gentle owner with experience of nervous little dogs is what he needs. Wilbur can live with other small dogs. He needs a strictly child-free home, and must be kept seperate from any visiting children as he would find it very stressful. Wilbur isn’t a boy who needs long walks – he needs a quiet, safe space, lovely comfy bed, some tasty treats and lots of love and understanding. He’s a really special little boy who deserves to find his happy ever after.
