Woody is a very handsome 9 month old medium sized Crossbreed – possibly a Terrier x Sighthound mix. He is a very energetic young man who has a lot of potential, and is looking for an experienced, active home to further his training and help him become a happy well rounded dog. We suspect he hasn’t been walked much at all in his life so far, and finds walks very over stimulating, a little scary but also VERY exciting, so he needs plenty of lead training to stop him pulling. He is anxious around other dogs, and definitely doesn’t like larger Male dogs, so will need a lot of very careful and slow socialisation around other dogs. He must live as the only pet and must be walked in quiet areas – busy parks etc will be too much for him to cope with. Woody will need a lot of company in his new home, but also boundaries and structure. He needs direct access to a VERY secure garden (6ft fencing needed!). Woody has been known to puppy mouth when excited, which can hurt, so he needs a child free home and a calm environment. He has so much potential, we just need to find him the right family to show him the way.
