Jasper is a very sweet, gentle Lurcher who is approx 2-3 years old. He is a real sweetheart with a lovely nature – he loves everyone he meets, and likes to lean into you for a fuss. He is a sensitive soul and is looking for a kind, reasonably quiet home where he will get lots of TLC. Jasper gets on very well with other dogs, and would enjoy living with another dog of a similar breed, but cannot live with cats. He was a little nervous on walks at first (especially around traffic), but now he’s grown in confidence, he really enjoys his walks and walks very nicely on lead (on a harness). He cannot be let off lead in unsecure areas, and will need a very secure garden! True to his breed, Jasper loves a comfy bed to lounge around in – he is quite a laid back boy who loves to chill out. He may need some work with his housetraining, but does try to stay clean in his kennel if he can. He gets upset being left on his own at the moment, and will cry/make a bit of mess if left alone, but does settle better in a crate if he has to be left for a short while, however he will need a home where he isn’t left for long at all for the moment. Jasper travels well in the car. He is such a lovely, sweet boy, who has had clearly had a rough start to his life, but now deserves the very best. A home with sighthound experience would be perfect for Jasper if possible.
