Chester is a 9-10 yr old Westie, still full of energy and is in very good health! Chester has loads of cheeky terrier personality, but is actually quite a sensitive soul, who can come across as a bit aloof when he’s around the kennels, but really he just confused as to why he’s without a home and is desperate to find his new best friend and have lots of company. He gets very upset if he’s left alone and barks/scratches at doors, so needs a home where he won’t be left alone, even if there is another dog in the home, as it’s people leaving him that he gets upset about (this will improve as he settles, but we are looking for a home where he will be left as little as possible). He loves his walks, walks nicely on the lead and loves playing with his toys even more (but doesn’t like to let you have them back!!). Squeaky toys are his absolute favourite! He is good with other dogs, he has always lived as the only dog, but could live with a calmer dog, no cats! He cannot live with children, and needs a calm home where he can be left alone to snooze if he wants, but he does enjoy a cuddle.
