India is a gorgeous Shar Pei crossbreed who is 5 years old. She has tons of personality and will make a very loyal companion for her lucky new owner. India can be a little aloof with new people (typical of her breed), so tends to ignore people she doesn’t know, but absolutely loves attention from ‘her’ people! India is very well behaved – she knows her commands, is fully housetrained and good to walk on the lead (but we think she’d be a suitable dog to have off the lead unless in a secure area). She will be fine to be left for a few hours once settled into a new home, but would like plenty of company. On her walks she can be a bit ‘on edge’ around dogs she sees and will pull towards them, but with slow introductions she is OK with calmer dogs who are friendly towards her. We do not know how she is around cats. India would love to find a home who know her breed type with older children only, where she will get plenty of company and a good couple of walks a day. She’s a great dog who will be a fantastic family member in the right home.
